Rockfish Valley Volunteer Fire and Rescue

Welcome to the Rockfish Valley Volunteer Fire and Rescue website. We were established in the Rockfish Valley in 1965, and moved to our new building in December of 1989. The department serves Afton, Nellysford and Adial area with first due in parts of Albemarle.The department assists Wintergreen, Faber, Piney River, Lovingston, North Garden, Crozet and Dooms. The department responds to fire and emergency medical incidents. The department responds to over 350 incidents per year.
